Refund policy

If it's not right for you, say so within 14 days

This is how refunds work on a subscription or the Lifetime plan. It sits alongside the billing terms in the terms of service and doesn't replace any legal right you already have.

Last updated: July 2026

The 14-day guarantee

The first time you subscribe — on the yearly plan or the Lifetime plan — you can request a full refund within 14 days of that payment, no questions asked. This applies once, to your first purchase; it isn't a recurring window on every renewal.

A refund under this guarantee cancels the plan it applied to: a refunded subscription is cancelled immediately, and a refunded Lifetime purchase reverts your account to the free tier. Anything already stored in your vault is untouched — refunds only affect billing, never your data.

Renewals & cancellations

Outside the 14-day guarantee, payments for a period you've already had — a renewal that has already billed — are not refunded. You can cancel a subscription at any time from billing settings; cancelling stops future renewals but doesn't refund the current period, and your plan stays active until it ends.

Once a switch has delivered

If your Pulse has actually triggered and a vault was delivered to a recipient during the period a payment covered, that payment is not refundable, including within the 14-day window. The service did the one thing it exists to do, and delivery can't be undone once a recipient has unlocked it.

The Lifetime plan

Because it's a single larger payment, Lifetime gets a longer look: 30 days from purchase to request a full refund, rather than 14, under the same terms as the guarantee above (and subject to the same delivered-switch exclusion). After 30 days, a Lifetime purchase is final.

How to request one

Refunds aren't self-serve from billing settings — tell us directly via the feedback form with the email your account uses and roughly when you paid. We aim to process eligible requests within a few business days, back to your original payment method via Paddle.

Paddle & your rights

Payments are handled by Paddle.com Market Limited, our merchant of record — Paddle is the seller you pay, handles the transaction and any dispute, and may issue a refund at its own discretion even outside this policy. Nothing here limits any right you have under mandatory consumer law in your country of residence, including any statutory cooling-off period for digital purchases.
